Lets talk about coffee

Coffee sourced from a particular country as the name would suggests, these coffees can be quite nice on there own or may be blended with other single origins to make the perfect blend. Much like wine, coffee is heavily influenced by where it is grown. Different origins will have profiles made up from acidity, body, fragrance, aroma, flavour and aftertaste.
These are single origins roasted separately then blended together balancing sweetness, body, aroma, fragrance and acidity to create an “absolute” cup that satisfies your need. Our creative passion ensures that we try new things also, new origins and techniques, we have an opportunity to craft many new and terrific blends by combining a bit of this, a bit of that, and discovering which coffees compliment each other. We have experimented with roast time, temperature, and ratio’s to blend some excellent house blends that will last a lifetime, labelled and loved… View the range of coffee blends avaiable in our online shop

Coffees branded with the Fair Trade logo seen are certified by the official Fair Trade Program.
As stated on the Australian Fair Trade Association website …
“Fair Trade is a trading partnership based on dialogue, transparency and respect, that seeks greater equity in international trade. It contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to, and securing the rights of, marginalised producers and workers — especially in the South. Fair Trade organisations (backed by consumers) are engaged actively in supporting producers, awareness raising and in campaigning for changes in the rules and practise of conventional international trade.” (www.fta.org.au)

Ensuring your LA CREMA COFFEE stays FRESH!
Light, moisture and heat are all enemies of your coffee beans, the best place to store coffee is in a air tight container , in a dark cool place.
Whole beans will retain optimum flavour and aroma if stored correctly.
The one way valve on the La Crema coffee bag allows the naturally occurring CO’2 gasses to escape and keeps out air and moisture, which would otherwise cause your coffee to deteriorate.
Beans will hold their flavour longer than ground coffee.
